Alyki Beach 

Villa Amara Haven is located just 5 kilometers from Alyki Beach, one of the most popular beaches in the area. It is an organized beach known for its clear waters, which is why it has been awarded the Blue Flag, and there is a lifeguard on duty at the busiest spots throughout the day. Although it can be crowded most of the time, it is spacious enough for you to enjoy your swim in peace or in the lively atmosphere of the beach cafés and bars that offer free sunbeds. It’s worth visiting in the afternoon to experience the stunning sunset as it dips into the waters.

Akoli Beach

Another stunning beach you’ll want to visit more than once during your vacation is Akoli Beach, also known as Abyssos, as the locals call it. It’s perfect for those who love pebbles, deep waters, and unique sunsets! Don’t forget to bring your snorkel to explore its magical underwater world! Selianitika - Longos Beach

Selianitika and Longos are beautiful cosmopolitan beaches, one after the other, where you can easily spend an entire day. Valimitika Beach

Located just 6 kilometers from Aigio, Valimitika Beach is a stunning, picturesque shore next to the Selinountas River. It is divided into two beaches: one is more crowded, while the other offers a more secluded experience. Whichever you choose, the waters are crystal clear, ensuring you enjoy every moment of your swim. A notable feature of this beach is its large pebbles.

Digheliotika Beach

Digheliotika Beach, named after the nearby settlement, is famous for its azure waters and excellent facilities. Holy Church of Panagia Trupiti

The port of Aigio hosts one of the most impressive pilgrimage sites in Greece, the Holy Church of Panagia Trupiti. To reach this magnificent church, you will need to climb 150 steps, but its beauty will surely reward you. It is located within a cave on a rock 30 meters high, surrounded by lush cypress and pine trees.

Ancient Theatre of Aigeira

The ancient theatre of Aigeira remains a unique symbol of culture, keeping the history of this place alive. It is an astonishing architectural structure made from the natural rock of the area. The imposing atmosphere of the site fills every visitor with awe while offering an opportunity to enjoy the stunning view of the Corinthian Gulf.

Vouraikos River Gorge

A natural gem, just 22 kilometers from Aigio, will elevate your vacation experience. The Vouraikos Gorge is the perfect choice for hiking, as along the trail you will encounter waterfalls, caves, and countless species of lush vegetation, such as fir trees, oleanders, and plane trees. To traverse it, you should start from the village of Kato Zachlorou and end at the famous Diakofto. Alternatively, you can take the Odontotos Railway (Kalavryta Station) on a journey through the gorge that will be unforgettable!

Alyki Wetland

Just outside Aigio, you will discover a paradise filled with unique species of wildlife. The Alyki Wetland is home to rare birds, including flamingos, which have been spotted in recent years, across an area of 180 square kilometers. The rich vegetation surrounding it creates a fairy-tale landscape. It is a protected area incorporated into the Natura network and is definitely worth a visit.

High Alonia Square

One of the most iconic spots in Aigio, which you will fall in love with from the very first moment! High Alonia Square boasts a unique beauty, thanks to its lush greenery and unbeatable views of the entire city and the Corinthian Gulf. Here stands the impressive Tower, a timeless symbol of Aigio. Built in the early 1900s, it originally served as a meteorological station and later as a café, now integrated into the city’s modern life as a meeting and entertainment venue. Its unique identity is complemented by the striking monument of the Unknown Soldier, featuring an airplane monument, and the Holy Church of Saint Andrew.

Archaeological Museum of Aigio

Inaugurated on August 6, 1994, the museum features six rooms filled with artifacts from the Neolithic to the Roman period, primarily sourced from the city of Aigio and other ancient cities of Aigialeia.

Cultural Center of Aigio “Alekos Megaris”

A cultural center with stunning views and full moons. It is named in honor of the late mayor of Aigio, during whose term it was renovated and transformed into a cultural center. In the surrounding area, there is the open-air theater “George Pappas,” named in honor of the unforgettable internationally renowned bass singer from Aigialeia. It features rare natural beauty and offers an expansive view of the Corinthian Gulf. The theater's tiers can accommodate approximately 1,000 people and are constructed from treated wood. Every summer, it is ready to welcome theatrical performances, concerts, and events catering to art lovers of all ages!
